Port's Tonnage Report for 5 Months of 2012

In 2012 the growth of port’s turnover for five months amounted to 22.1% over the same period in 2011. For the period the total volume reached 1104.8 thousand tons, including 405.4 thousand tons of bulk cargo (+47 thousand and 4 hundred tons) and 119.3 thousand tons of scrap metal (+44 thousand and 2 hundred tons).

From January to May 2012, 27,310 units vehicles and 54,896 TEU - containerized cargo were handled through the Port berths.

391 vessels and 11,226 wagons were processed during the reporting period.

Steady growth of cargo volume is a result of improved management, intensify production and improve the quality of logistics services in the port.

Today Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is one of the leading ports of the Far East. The port is located in the Golden Horn Bay in the area of more than 323700 m², has ten deep-water berths with a total length of about 2,000 m berthing front and a versatile handling system capable of carrying out of cargo operations with various types of cargo besides processing fish production.
